    Submission, plan-check correspondence, and jurisdictional review. Hillside, coastal-zone, and HOA reviews add time we plan for upfront.

    Construction

    Sequenced work, regular walk-throughs, and clear handoffs between trades. You always know who is responsible and what is next.

  • Earlier than most homeowners expect. A typical Westside kitchen or bath remodel runs 4–6 weeks of design, 6–12 weeks of permitting (longer in Malibu coastal-zone or Calabasas hillside), and 2–4 months of construction. Additions and ADUs extend further. Reaching out 3–6 months ahead of when you would like construction to start is reasonable; for larger projects, 9–12 months is realistic.
