About this scope
This page describes the TYPE of hardscape and pool-surround work we build across the Westside and Conejo Valley. A pool surround project is rarely just the pool. It is the pool, the deck, the drainage plan, the landscape lighting, and often a retaining wall or two on hillside lots. Coordinating these as one project beats stacking them — the trades work around a single schedule and the grading plan accounts for every change to runoff.
Drainage is the binding constraint. New hardscape changes how water moves across a parcel; without a proper drainage plan, a beautifully built pool surround can route water toward the foundation. We engineer drainage into the design — slope grading, French drains, and code-compliant runoff sized for the parcel.
Pool work requires its own permit and trade coordination. We carry the pool sub through the schedule so the deck finish lands after the pool fill and not before.
