Scope notes

About this scope

This page describes the TYPE of interior remodel we build across the Westside. Interior updates reshape how a home lives without expanding the building. New flooring across a full level, refreshed trim and door packages, lighting redesign, built-ins along a long wall, and refreshed paint and hardware can transform the feel of a home in six to eight weeks. Most of this work does not need a permit because the footprint and the systems do not change.

The one common exception is when a wall comes down to open a layout. That triggers a permit, a structural review, and often a small foundation or framing scope. We will tell you which category your project falls in before you commit.

Older Westside homes commonly surface knob-and-tube wiring, galvanized plumbing, asbestos in old flooring or insulation, or unpermitted prior work during demo. We document, photograph, and price these as approved change orders before continuing.
